About

Born in february 2014, Lupita is a research project about Latin American artists and curators in Europe. The website shares information of exhibitions, awards, residencies and publications made in Europe. It works at the same time as an agenda, as an archive and as a feed of news.

The information published in Lupita is mainly institutional press releases. Its goal is to help people interested in following and understanding what happens with Latin American art in Europe. Lupita also seeks to translate into spanish its whole content, in order to share it with a larger public in spanish-speaking countries. Because translation process is longer than data collection, sometimes the information published is not translated. But it’s just a matter of time for all content to appear in spanish.

Lupita is conceived and developed by the anthropologist Guillermo Vargas Quisoboni.
